Arrive Friday evening and get settled in your room. Then it's quick check of the bikes in the workshop and a chat about tomorrows ride. Hot drinks and cakes are there if you want them or just get pointed to the best pubs and places to eat all within 5 minutes walk. Come back and relax in front of a roaring log fire, watch a DVD and brag about how amazing you're going to be tomorrow!

Get up Saturday morning for a hearty breakfast. Get your gear sorted, camelbacks filled up and bikes in the van by 9:30am - ish! Head off to the ride start, trying your best to enjoy the old skool music on the way.

Have a half day guided or instruction session in Dalby then do your own thing in the afternoon. Either arrange for a pick up or bike the 3 miles back to the house in your own time. Alternatively you could opt for a full days guiding where we ride out from the house into Dalby for some or all of the red route, coming back over moorland on Old Wives Way by the Hole of Horcum past Levisham and back into Pickering (maybe even calling in at a pub on the way!).

Get back to the house at around 4pm. Clean, check and lock up the bikes then grab some afternoon hot drinks and cakes over the statutory stewards enquiry about the days riding.

Chill out for a bit, shower and head out to one of the many pubs or restaurants in Pickering. One of us might even be persuaded to head out with you.

Back to the house again and try to stay awake for the rest of the film you didn't see the end of the night before.

Same again on Sunday morning for a half days ride before heading off home full of stories to tell with aching limbs as well as egos to massage.
